Home Ground Inc. is a Martha's Vineyard company formed to do two things: connect landowners who want deer taken off their property with qualified hunters and staff, and operate deer processing on the Island so that venison reaches people who need it.
The Vineyard has a tick problem unlike anywhere else in the state, and the deer herd is why. Fewer deer means fewer ticks. That only happens if hunting can reach the land the deer are actually on — and most of that land is private.

We are not operating yet. Processing capacity is being commissioned for this season, and the access program opens as soon as it's ready. What we're doing right now is building the list. Nothing happens on anyone's land without written permission from the owner, every time.
